srImages (v1.2.2)

Image Configuration Tool for srHMI

Screenshot

The srImages application can create a custom image configuration for srHMI (SoftReal’s Human-Machine Interface). The application can be run on MS Windows XP, Vista, 7 or newer operating system (on any edition, including server editions). The program contains a built-in FTP client to download the configuration to the SCADA server. Currently only the EuroGateway device contains such server.

The configuration of images is packed into a single HMD project file. The file contains a set of run-time and source image files and a set of bookmarks for the selected images. The program can open one HMD project file at a time; several copies of the program can be run simultaneously. The HMD file type is associated with the srImages program. It is not necessary to configure images; in case of a “zero configuration” – i.e. when the HMD file is not present – the srHMI program will create the essential images on-the-fly:

In addition to the images enlisted above, the preset project contains the Support and License Agreement text (RTF) images; any other text (RTF or TXT) or background picture (BMP, EMF, JPG, JPEG, ICO) image can be added to the project. We offer the srDraw application to create drawn (vector graphic) scheme images. The srImages program can automatically create the runtime files from the source image file with srDraw.

Although the srImages program has a multi-language user interface, a new project is created for a selected, single language. If your desired language is not offered then you can still translate image names and bookmark captions; you can also export and translate the preset text files. You are not recommended to remove a preset image but you can still do it.
